SWSLHD Work Experience

Work experience opportunities are available in SWSLHD however placements are limited and cannot be guaranteed.

There are two processes to follow depending on your area of interest.

If you are interested in nursing work experience and are in year 10 or 11. Please register your interest with Shivani Mani by email - Shivani.Mani@sswahs.nsw.gov.au or telephone: 8738 5920, you will be provided with information about the application process. Please note to be placed in a clinical area you are required to have proof of immunisation status in accordance with the NSW Ministry of Health policy. The policy will be explained when you register your interest.

If you wish to register for other work experience occupational opportunities please email us at swslhd.hr@sswahs.nsw.gov.au and indicate your top two occupation preferences and why, include your school, Career Adviser and your contact details. We will attempt to organise a placement for you and notify you if you have been successful or unsuccessful.
