Student Placement Services

eMR/Clinical Systems Access

Students may be given access to eMR/PowerChart/CHOC/eRic/CBORD and other applications whilst on a placement in NSW Health.  Access to these applications in SWSLHD is not automatically provided. Staff and students must follow current District policy directives.

There is an access request form and eMR training modules to be completed before eMR access will be granted.  It is best to review the SWSLHD policy document to find out the current process for getting student access to eMR.

Access will only be available whilst on placement and will be terminated once placement has finished.  Students will likely use their StaffLink ID and password to log into the eMR and other applications. Students need to contact the State-Wide Service Desk on 1300 28 55 33 if they are having trouble accessing any of these systems.

eMR training modules

Nursing & Midwifery, Medical and Allied Health students have access to purpose built eMR training modules in the NSW Health Learning Management system. Students will need to search for these modules in the catalogue of the My Health Learning system as they will not be displayed on the My Health Learning home page.

For current requirements and more information always refer to the HETI Student Compliance website
