GradStart Program

Welcome to South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) GradStart  Program.  SWSLHD employs a number of graduate nurses/midwives each year. We are delighted to be able to work with you to facilitate and support your journey of transition as a Registered Nurse/Midwife. We hope the journey is enriching, exciting, transforming and meets your expectations and your learning and development needs. Graduate Nurses and MIdwives are integral to the maintenance of a skilled and valued nursing/midwifery workforce.

GradStart programs are designed to provide a structured and coordinated approach to clinical practice development, promote a climate conducive to workplace learning and enhance collaboration and communication across the health service.
