MaternityVisiting Hours: The Maternity Unit has 3 birthing rooms, and 12 post natal beds. Mothers have the option of post natal care from within the Unit or by early discharge and home visits from the Community Midwifery Support Program. Midwives also provide antenatal education for new parents.

Child & Family Health Nurses
The Wingecarribee Community Health Child and Family Health Nurses offer a service to all parents and caregivers of children 0-5 years residing in the Wingecarribee Shire. There are 7 clinics located throughout the Shire and the services offered include guidance, information and support, regular checks of babies and children’s growth and development, home visits to all new babies, parenting education groups, breastfeeding education and support, information sessions for specific groups and referrals to other appropriate services.
