Community Participation

Community Participation involves engagement with consumers, carers and the community in developing relationships with health to plan and run services. Community Participation means that the community can provide support and insight to the hospital by voicing thoughts on the services provided by the hospital, building links between the health service and the community, making the hospital more relevant to the needs of the local community and improving the quality and delivery of health services by working together. The Hospital welcomes and values the input of community participation in providing the Health Service with transparency and accountability through that engagement.
