 Centenary Scholarship 2023 Promotional Flyer

The Centenary Scholarship was established in 1989 by the staff of Bowral & District Hospital to acknowledge the assistance the hospital had received from the local community during it's first 100 years.

Each Scholarship is valued at $1,000 per annum for a maximum of four years (the scholarship can be used in any manner you wish, for books, transport, fees or accommodation).

It is offered to a Year 12 student from any secondary school in the Wingecarribee Shire who is planning to undertake a health related course at University or College. The family must have permanently resided in the Southern Highlands for at least the previous last two years.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1.

Please read the Terms and Conditions to ensure you are eligible to apply for the scholarship Centenary Scholarship Terms and Conditions

Step 2.

Applications must be completed on the official application form (below) at the end of the year in which the Year 12 studies were undertaken and submitted by Friday 25 November 2022. Applications can be submitted by email; post or in person.

Note:  Forms must be typed using the eForm provided - no handwritten forms will be accepted.

Step 3:

In addition to your application, a Request for Information Form is to be completed by your School Principal and two teachers who can estimate your ability to undertake undergraduate study in a health related field.
 

Interviews for the Scholarship will be held in January 2023
