South Western Sydney Local Health District Cancer Services provide comprehensive Oncology consultative services, as well as:
- Specialty Surgery
- Radiation treatment
- Palliative Care
- Cancer Genetics
- Psychology services; as well as a full schedule of support programmes for families, carers and staff, as well as education materials for specific tumour groups, and supportive care pathways.
The SWSLHD Cancer Care Coordination Service is a hospital service available to the person diagnosed with cancer and their families to help them find their way through the hospital and the community health system. Contact 0439 813 807 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Cancer Wellness Centres are located in Campbelltown & Liverpool Hospitals and they have informal and comfortable areas for cancer patients and their carers where they can access information, advice and programs designed to support wellbeing.
Canteen Counselling Service
The Canteen Counselling Service is a free and specialised program for young people aged 12-24 years old who have a parent with cancer or whose parent has died from cancer.
