Safe Wayz is a free and confidential program which offers information, consultation, counselling and referrals for children under 10 who have displayed problematic or harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB).

The program also provides support to families, carers and professionals seeking guidance, information, and advice where concerns are held for a child’s sexual behaviour.

Safe Wayz is a safe and respectful child and family-centred program.

Safe Wayz have an Aboriginal Safe Wayz Clinician and can provide cultural consultation for staff working with Aboriginal children and families. This program is for children of all cultures, backgrounds and abilities.

Anyone can contact the Safe Wayz team or refer into the program, including:
• Parents, Families and Carers
• NSW Health staff
• Schools, Teachers and Early Childhood Centres
• GPs and other professionals

 

Safe Wayz can also collaborate with other Government and Non-Government agencies working with children who have sexualised behaviours.

Mondays: 9:00AM to 4:00PM

Tuesdays: 1:00PM to 4:00PM*

Wednesdays: 9:00AM to 4:00PM

Thursdays: 9:00AM to 4:00PM

Fridays: 9:00AM to 4:00PM

*Reduced opening hours on Tuesdays
