Services provided in the hospital

• Inpatient ward at Liverpool for older patients with complex needs who are acutely unwell
• Consultation and advice about care of older patients throughout the hospital
• Inpatient ward at Fairfield that assists older patients to a fuller recovery after they have been through the acute care system at Liverpool
• Aged Services in Emergency Team (ASET), that provides assessment and management plans for older people with complex care needs presenting to the Emergency Department
• Outpatient Department Clinic where patients are seen by Geriatricians after referral from their general practitioner or as follow-up after being in hospital
• Nursing Home Outreach where patients are seen in their nursing home by specialist aged care medical and/or nursing staff after referral from their General Practitioner
