REDCapREDCapAccessing REDCapIf you are an SWSLHD staff member, you can access REDCap via your Single-Sign On (SSO) credentials via:
When you access the Production environment, you will be required to set-up an account using your SSO (StaffLink employee number and password), then verify your details via the confirmation email. If you are using the Test environment, you will need to also create an account but you will not receive a verification email (set-up your account and wait 15 minutes to access). Once you have access to the Production environment, you can access training materials via the “Training Videos” link inside REDCap. Need assistance? If you need assistance, you can contact SWSLHD-REDCap@health.nsw.gov.au, the generic mailbox used for general assistance with your REDCap projects or help with administering your project. Please note, the Research Directorate does not manage the REDCap system or access. If you are having challenges accessing your account, you can contact the Statewide Service Desk on 1300 28 55 33, or log a ticket via SARA. Using REDCap for Electronic Consent (e-Consent) Electronic Consent (e-Consent) is a way for consenting participants using a computer-based consent form rather than traditional paper documentation. Consent forms can be implemented in a REDCap project via a survey. You can utilise REDCap to obtain e-Consent from participants using a computer based online consent form. If you wish to do so, view the following steps: View: Electronic Consent Set-up Instructions View: Introduction to SWSLHD REDCap - Test and Production Environments.pdf For further information:
