Consumer and Community Participation

Bankstown

The Bankstown Community Representative Network (BCRN) is a group of community representatives who are residents of the Local Government Area of Bankstown. Members of this network are interested in health issues, know the local community, currently use or have used health services in the past, would like ot support their local hospital and are able to dedicate some time to participate in meetings and events.

As a Member, you will have the opportunity to participate in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of health services. At Bankstown we believe that person centred care is crucial in delivering the right care, at the right time and in the right place.

You may also have the opportunity to participate in training and development that supports your valued consumer representative role in the community. Representatives may be nominated and/or elected as members of various Hospital Governance Committees as required.
