Gynaecology Services

 

 

The department runs regular Gynaecology outpatient clinics on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The clinic is staffed with Gynaecologist and trained registrars.

Patients with general Gynaecology conditions and Gynae-Endocrinology disorders can be referred by their family doctors or other specialists.

Minor procedures such as colposcopy, cervical polypectomy, IUCD insertion and removal, endometrial biopsy etc. are commonly performed as part of the outpatient services. Campbelltown Hospital Gynaecology clinic is also one of the accredited training sites for the clinicial part of the IUCD insertion program for NSW Family Planning Association.

Referring to our service

To refer to one of our services, please complete the following referral form, Opening with Adobe Reader will allow this form to be electronically sent directly to our department. Please ensure that you include all relevant clinical information for appropriate triaging.

Referrals should include the following information:

Relevant clinical history of the patient
Reason for referral
Patient details including address; date of birth and contact number
Referrer’s provider number
Name of the consultant you wish for the patient to see
Referrals are triaged based on clinical priority.
