This website is designed to provide helpful information to patients and visitors of Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals. It’s an exciting time for the local community with the $632 million hospital redevelopment underway. Construction has commenced and the redevelopment will be completed by 2023. The Campbelltown Hospital redevelopment project will bring world-class health care to the south west Sydney community. Patient safety is a priority at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals and staff are committed to a high standard of quality in care. The Hospital has achieved and maintained full accreditation status in the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards, Evaluation and Quality Improvement Program (EQuIP). Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals are committed to providing the highest level of care and attention and we welcome your feedback.
If you have any questions or are concerned about your treatment in hospital or in the community, we encourage you to discuss your concerns with the nurse, doctor, or other health professional involved in your care. They may be able to resolve your issues immediately or they can refer you to a more senior member of staff.
Alternatively, you can contact the Patient Liaison Officers who support patients and families with any issues they may have in regard to the provision of care they receive within our Hospitals. The Patient Liaison Officers assist in bringing both staff and patients together in an effort to resolve any issues.
Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals are committed to involving consumers, carers and community members at all levels of the organisation through a range of processes to enable an empowered and coordinated voice to be included in decision-making. Finally, Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals are clean hands hospitals. We are committed to preventing hospital infections, therefore we ask all our visitors and staff to please use the hand hygiene gels before entering and leaving the hospital wards and after patient contact.
