Visiting Hours

We are now welcoming visitors into our hospital.

Visiting hours are 10am to 8pm.

Each patient is allowed two visitors at a time.

All visitors must agree to wear a mask correctly at all times while in the facility and must follow the advice of healthcare staff at all times.

Visitors will be permitted if they:

  • have not tested positive to COVID-19 within the last 10 days
  • have not tested positive to another acute respiratory infection in the last 7 days
  • are not a high-risk contact of someone who has COVID-19 in the previous 7 days
  • do not have symptoms of COVID-19 or other acute respiratory infection
  • have not arrived from overseas in the past 7 days

A high-risk contact is someone who has spent more than four hours in a home, accommodation premises or care facility with someone who has COVID-19.

Maternity Ward Restrictions

Birthing mothers may have up to two adult support people - please discuss further details with your midwife or doctor

In maternity and postnatal wards only one adult support person is allowed.

Please note: Children under 12 years of age are not allowed in maternity/ postnatal wards

Women presenting to the Women’s Health Outpatient Department for appointments may be accompanied by one support person. Children are unable at this time to enter the Women’s Health Outpatient clinic. Please talk to your midwife or doctor if you have any questions
