Visiting Hours

General Visiting Hours
8:00am - 8:00pm
7 days

Thank you for planning your visit to Liverpool Hospital. We welcome visitors to our facility and recognise the important role that family, friends, and carers play in the lives of our patients.

Liverpool Hospital has flexible visiting hours across most Wards and Departments. If you would like to visit a patient outside of the general visiting hours, please ask a nursing staff member who will be able to discuss alternate visiting options with you.

Visiting hours in speciality areas such as Intensive Care, Birthing Unit and Special Care Nursery may vary.
When visiting we ask that you please:

  • Follow signage and instructions from the staff.
  • Maintain good hand hygiene.
  • Keep visits brief and we recommend no more than 2 people at a time.
  • Supervise children.
  • Shared rooms - please be considerate and sensitive to the needs of other patients.

To protect our patients and staff, if you are unwell, please avoid visiting until you are well.

From time to time, we may change our visitor rules due to high community infections - this may include wearing protective equipment such as masks/gowns when required to protect our patients, or yourself from infection. Signage and masks at the hospital entrance will indicate the current requirements.

We encourage you to use technology, where possible, to check in with loved ones. Patients can access free Wi-Fi within the facility.
