Population Health

The Centre for Health Equity Training Research and Evaluation (CHETRE) is a unit of Population Health in South Western Sydney Local Health District, an affiliated member of the Ingham Institute, and a part of the Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity at UNSW Australia, where CHETRE's research activities form the Family and Social Ecology Stream.

CHETRE provides leadership and a focus on training, research and evaluation in the area of health equity, with a particular emphasis on the development and evaluation of interventions to reduce health inequities.

CHETRE has research programs in early childhood, community and population research and translational research, and research and intervention capacity building activities. Find out more under Research Programs.
