Television Hire
Patient televisions are operated using the HosTel service, which can be set up using the phone by the bedside of most wards in Liverpool Hospital. Your account can be used to purchase television time and outgoing phone calls.
To add credit to your account, you can use a credit card over the phone (either within the Hospital or by friends and family remotely) or pay by cash at a HosTel vending machine located in the Hospital. All vending machines are multilingual and print receipts.

Pensioners can receive telephone rental, voicemail and incoming calls at no charge. Television time is also discounted, however charges apply for outgoing calls.
To obtain a pensioner discount, phone the Helpdesk by dialling 7999. Please have your pension card details ready.
Full terms and conditions of the HosTel service are displayed at the HosTel vending machine and on the television Info Channels. Please ask your Nurse if you require more information or wish to connect to the telephone and television service.
