Telephones

Patients

Telephones are available at the bedside of most wards in Liverpool Hospital and a credit card is required to make a call. After you register with the HosTel service, your friends and family can call you directly on 02 8778 3100 followed by your MRN Number (the last seven digits of the number on your patient wristband).

Pensioners can receive telephone rental, voicemail and incoming calls at no charge. Television time is also discounted, however charges apply for outgoing calls.

To obtain a pensioner discount, phone the Helpdesk by dialling 7999. Please have your pension card details ready.

Please ask your Nurse if you require more information or wish to connect to the telephone and television service.

Taxis

A direct phone to a taxi service is located on the wall near the ATM (between Taste Baguette and Lift D) at Entrance J, and in the Emergency Department.  When using a taxi phone, simply lift the receiver and follow the prompts. The phone has been programmed with its location which is sent directly to the taxi company.
