Dermatology at Liverpool Hospital services the population of South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) which currently stands a nearly million people, projected to add nearly 300,000 people over the next 15 years.
SWSLHD has unique challenges in delivering patient care with up to 44% of the population being born overseas and up to 51% speak a language other than English at home. Due to our large catchment area, waiting times in our service can be longer than expected.
