Our volunteers make a significant contribution to the comfort of patients while they are in Hospital and are recognised as valuable members of our health care team.

As a volunteer, you will assist patients, visitors and staff with a variety of tasks, such as escorting less mobile patients, assisting on the wards with reading materials, or supporting fundraising efforts for the Hospital.

If you would like to support Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital as a volunteer, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator on 02 9722 8225.

Volunteer feeding program - volunteers come to the hospital at meal times and support the nursing staff to feed those patients who have difficulty feeding themselves.
