About Us

The Liverpool Education & Research Centre (LERC) comprises 9 rooms - 3 Conference Rooms, 5 Seminar Rooms (including a computer room) and 1 small Meeting Rooms. The Clinical Building has an additional 14 meeting rooms which are also managed by the Conference Centre Staff

LERC, Conference Centre is located on the Eastern Campus of Liverpool Hospital.  The Centre is open from 7am – 4pm Monday to Friday (evenings and weekends on request). 

The Centre is available for conferences, seminars, tutorials, meetings, computer training and special functions for hospital and health employees. 

Car parking is not available on the Eastern Campus. You will be required to park at the hospital and walk over the Staff Walk Bridge. 

Information for all facilitators to advise attendees of courses, meetings and conferences

• Food and Beverages should be served outside in the seated area wherever possible and not in the rooms. 
• Rooms must be left as they were found with chairs in the original place, all rubbish in the bin provided and the audio-visual system turned off
• Toilets are located near Seminar Room 4

 In case of an emergency

•     Please follow the directions of the Conference Centre staff at all times
•     EXITS are located at the main reception and the side door
•     If asked to evacuate the centre, all facilitators should take their sign on/off sheet with them
•     The assembly point is at the back fence of the campus
