We are located in a pleasant part of South West Sydney close to shops, schools and other services (e.g. public transport, gyms, golf course etc.). Fairfield Hospital is easily assessable using public transport and main arterial roads such as the M7, M5 and M4.

Annual Staff Recognition

Education

Ongoing staff education is provided through:

  • On site clinical education programs
  • Access to a range of courses through the SWSLHD Centre of Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) and the NSW Health Education & Training Institute (HETI)
  • Access to a library on site and the ability to utilise the library services at each of the hospitals in SWSLHD

Staff Services

Working at Fairfield HospitalEmployee Assistance Program (EAP): Our onsite EAP service provides free professional and confidential counselling for staff and their families.

General Practice Unit: A general practice unit operates within the Hospital providing staff with on site GP care and staff vaccination.

Parking: Staff parking is available to all staff who work at Fairfield Hospital for a small fee per fortnight.

Salary Packaging: Salary packaging is offered to permanent full time, part time and temporary employees employed for three months or more. Salary packaging is a tax-effective means of using part of your salary towards non cash benefits such as your home or personal loan.

Teaching Hospital

We are a teaching hospital of the University of NSW, and an Associate of the University of Western Sydney, Macarthur. Fairfield Hospital also has a close affiliation with the University of Sydney - Cumberland Campus in the training of Allied Health professionals.
