Trains

City Rail stations with connecting buses to Fairfield Hospital include:

  • Fairfield Station on the South line. Catch a connecting 817/808/800 bus to the hospital.

  • Liverpool Station on the South, Inner West and Bankstown lines. Catch a connecting 819 or T80 bus to Prairiewood Stop and then walk to the Hospital.

  • Parramatta Station on the Western line. Catch a connecting T80 bus to Orphan School Stop and then walk to the Hospital.

Buses

Bus services are available to and from the hospital. Bus timetables are available in the front foyer of the Hospital and at the bus stops. 817 - Fairfield to Cabramatta service via Fairfield Heights, Prairiewood, Bonnyrigg, Canley Heights (operated by Transit Systems Sydney). Disembark at the Fairfield Hospital Stop (Stop 2176304), and then walk to the Hospital.  It runs approximately every 30 minutes Monday - Friday and hourly on weekends.

808 - Fairfield to Liverpool service via Prairiewood, Bossley Pk, Abbotsbury, Edensor Pk, Mt Pritchard (operated by Transit Systems Sydney). Disembark at the Prairiewood Stop (Stop 2176289), and then walk to the Hospital.  It runs approximately every 30 minutes Monday - Friday and hourly on weekends.

800 - Fairfield to Blacktown service (operated by Transit Systems Sydney). Disembark at the Fairfield Hospital Stop (Stop 2176304), and then walk to the Hospital.

819 - Liverpool to Orange Grove, Prairiewood and return service (operated by Transit Systems Sydney). Disembark at the Fairfield Hospital Stop (Stop 2176154) and then walk to the Hospital.

T80 - Liverpool to Parramatta T-Way service via Miller, Bonnyrigg, Prairiewood, (operated by Transit Systems Sydney). Disembark at the Orphan School T-Way Station and then walk to the Hospital. It runs every 10 minutes in peak hours and every 15 to 20 minutes in off-peak hours. Please Note: Fairfield Hospital is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Orphan School T-way bus stop and there is a slight incline up Prairievale Road to the Hospital.

Taxi Services

Taxi services are available at all train stations.

A direct line to the Southern District Radio Cabs Taxi service is located in the waiting room of the Emergency Department for your convenience. This is a free call 24 Hour Service.

Cycling

Safe cycling options include the Orphan School Creek Cycleway and the Parramatta to Liverpool T-way cycle path.  Cycling maps are available at: http://www.westernsydneycyclingnetwork.com.au/

Bicycle parking is available outside the hospital's child care centre.  Shower and locker facilities are available for staff.
