Governance

The Organisational Structure and Committees of Fairfield Hospital are the mechanisms within the Governance Framework that ensure that Fairfield Hospital is functionally and structurally aligned to achieve our objectives.

The General Manager is accountable for the overall corporate governance, clinical services and performance, and strategic planning of the organisation. Positions reporting directly to the General Manager offer support in delivering these functions. The position of General Manager reports to the Chief Executive, South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) via the Director of Operations.

There are a number of senior executive positions that report directly to the General Manager. These include:

  • Director of Medical Services
  • Director of Nursing and Midwifery
  • Director of Corporate Services
  • Director of Finance and Revenue
  • Community Participation Manager
  • Human Resources Manager
  • Patient Liaison Manager
  • Quality and Accreditation Manager

These senior management positions have reporting relationships within SWSLHD and are responsible for the delivery of clinical services, strategic planning, workforce planning, performance, corporate and hotel services, support, finance and nursing for the organisation.
