Staff

Head2work is staffed by:

• Occupational Therapists: manage individualised vocational rehabilitation programs through: completion of functional capacity evaluations, workplace assessments, on-job training, assist with accessing suitable training, supporting group based vocational programs and incorporating input from other health professionals.

• Driver trained Occupational Therapists: conducts driving assessments and co-ordinates driver remediation programs and vehicle modifications.

• Rehabilitation Counsellor: manages individualised job seeking programs through: conducting vocational assessments and counselling, arranging work preparation opportunities such as work trials, volunteer work and training courses.

• Vocational Instructor: runs the carpentry workshop through: organising work orders and assigning tasks to clients, providing technical instruction to clients and BIRU staff in correct and safe use of woodwork tools and machinery and overseeing quality of work completed.
