Immunology and Allergy Unit - Campbelltown Hospital

The staff at the  Immunology & Allergy Unit provide a comprehensive service in both adult and paediatric medicine covering all aspects of :

Allergic diseases

  • Food and drug allergy
  • Stinging insect allergy and immunotherapy
  • Respiratory allergy including allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, asthma
  • Chronic sinusitis with and without polyps and the management of these conditions with pharmacotherapy and immunotherapy where indicated.
  • Allergic skin disorders including atopic dermatitis (eczema) and urticaria and angioedema.
  • Anaphylaxis and its many causes.
  • Rare and complex disorders such as mastocytosis, autoinflammatory conditions and Hereditary Angioedema.

Immunologic diseases

  • Connective tissue and autoimmune disorders eg systemic lupus erythematosis, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), Sjogren’s syndrome.
  • Vasculitis syndromes.
  • Immunodeficiency syndromes, primary and secondary and their management with immunoglobulin replacement therapy.

Location

Adult outpatient services in Clinic B on a Wednesday morning.
Paediatric outpatient services in paediatric wing of hospital on Tuesdays and Fridays.
