Immunology and Allergy Unit - Campbelltown Hospital
The staff at the  Immunology & Allergy Unit provide a comprehensive service in both adult and paediatric medicine covering all aspects of :
Allergic diseases
- Food and drug allergy
- Stinging insect allergy and immunotherapy
- Respiratory allergy including allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, asthma
- Chronic sinusitis with and without polyps and the management of these conditions with pharmacotherapy and immunotherapy where indicated.
- Allergic skin disorders including atopic dermatitis (eczema) and urticaria and angioedema.
- Anaphylaxis and its many causes.
- Rare and complex disorders such as mastocytosis, autoinflammatory conditions and Hereditary Angioedema.
Immunologic diseases
- Connective tissue and autoimmune disorders eg systemic lupus erythematosis, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), Sjogren’s syndrome.
- Vasculitis syndromes.
- Immunodeficiency syndromes, primary and secondary and their management with immunoglobulin replacement therapy.
Location
Adult outpatient services in Clinic B on a Wednesday morning.
Paediatric outpatient services in paediatric wing of hospital on Tuesdays and Fridays.
