Suicide Prevention Outreach Service (SPOT) - Campbelltown, Liverpool and Surrounding Areas

What is the SPOT?

  • A compassionate mobile team for people experiencing suicidal crisis
    • Each SPOT team has a mental health clinician and a Peer Support Worker (who has their own lived experience of suicidal crisis).
  • SPOT is available to meet you in the community, either at your home or a suitable place of your choice
  • Open during the week end and evenings when other services are unavailable

Operating Hours

  Friday 12pm - 7:30pm
  Saturday   12pm - 7:30pm
  Sunday 12pm - 7:30pm
  Monday 12pm - 7:30pm


How Can SPOT Support You?

  • Crisis response
  • Peer support and clinical care
  • Safety planning and recovery/wellness planning
  • Collaborative identification of community supports, including psychosocial support
  • Advocacy

How can you contact SPOT?

Emergencies - SPOT is not suitable for emergencies.

  • If someone has attempted, or is at immediate risk of attempting to harm themselves or someone else, call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
  • Or go to a hospital emergency department, where they may refer you to a mental health service

If you feel you would benefit from SPOT:

  • Please call the Mental Health Line on 1800 011 511 and request ‘SPOT’
  • This is available to everyone in NSW and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
    • Please note availability will depend on a SPOT service operating in your area
