Campbelltown Overtime

Handover is daily in the RMO room at 08:30 (weekends/public holidays) and 22:30 (every day).

Weekdays (17:00 - 23:00.  Handover at 22:30)

• Stroke/respiratory/CCU
  • Cover these wards, as well as any issues on the psychiatry wards
• Gen med/MAU/oncology
  • Cover these wards (generally the busiest overtime shift)
• Surgical
  • Cover surgical ward A and surgical ward B

Weekends and Public Holidays (08:30 - 23:00.  Handover at 08:30 and 22:30).

• Stroke/respiratory/CCU - as above (a cardiology registrar works from 8:30 to 17:00 and does most jobs other than taking bloods)
• Gen med/MAU/oncology - as above
• Surgical - as above

Nights (22:30 to 08:45.  Handover at 22:30 and 08:30)

• Resident 2

On overtime shifts at Campbelltown, a medical registrar, surgical registrar, and orthopaedic registrar are on-site.  There is also an off-site urology registrar available by phone, as well as consultants for each specialty.
