Neuro-Oncology Group
The Neuro-oncology Group is a multidisciplinary team of Medical
Specialists, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. The services
and multidisciplinary meetings are located at Liverpool.
The aim of the Neuro-oncology Group is to provide a comprehensive
service for people with brain and spinal cord tumours in the Sydney
South West Area Health Service.
The team endeavours not only to provide patients of the area with
timely diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management, but also
counselling, support, education and clinical research.
What is the Neuro-oncology support Service?
A team of health care professionals available to help you travel as smoothly as possible through the hospital and community health system and along your individual treatment pathway.
How can we help?
Assist you with any concerns or difficulties you may have in the hospital, community, or at home.
Liaise with those health professionals involved in your care and share updates on your progress.
Provide you with assistance and information quickly.
To provide you support during hospitalisation and whilst undergoing cancer treatment.
We are available to you at any stage: before, during or after your treatment.
