Dr Kaylene Minett (TCM)

Kaylene – Acupuncturist (Macarthur)

Kay is an AHPRA-registered acupuncturist with a strong interest in supporting the wellbeing and quality of life of people affected by cancer through the ancient medical art of acupuncture. She is trained in Japanese superficial, Traditional Chinese, electro-acupuncture and auricular (ear) acupuncture, and completed an internship at the Nanjing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.

Kay has also undertaken additional professional development in acupuncture for integrative oncology support. Her clinical experience includes providing acupuncture services at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Liverpool Women’s Health Centre and WILMA. Alongside her work with us, she runs a successful private practice on the South Coast. Outside the clinic, Kay enjoys spending time at the beach and in the mountains.

She is our dedicated Acupuncturist at Macarthur.




                       

                 

 Dr. Julia Xiao (TCM)

Julia – Acupuncturist (Liverpool & Fairfield Clinics)

Julia is an AHPRA-registered acupuncturist and a member of CMIC and AACMA. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Western Sydney University. Julia is skilled in a range of therapeutic modalities, including Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, Qigong, Doyin, and dietary therapy. She has a special focus on integrative therapies, supporting oncology patients to enhance their quality of life.

Committed to continuous learning, Julia regularly participates in professional development programs in Australia and overseas. She is also the research clinician for the acupuncture trial at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals.

Outside of her clinical work, Julia enjoys practicing Chinese calligraphy and playing the Guqin (Chinese lyre). She currently also practices Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Beijing Tong Ren Tang clinic.

 Fiona Gould

Fiona – Wig Service Coordinator (Liverpool & Macarthur)

Fiona has been volunteering in the Wig Library for the past 24 years. She currently runs the wig services at Liverpool and Macarthur, providing not only wigs but also personally styling and fitting them for each individual.

Fiona’s dedication and passion make a real difference in the lives of those she supports, helping to boost confidence and comfort during a challenging time. Her expertise and caring approach are deeply appreciated by everyone she helps.

 Darren Martin

Darren – Community Greening Coordinator (Liverpool)

Darren Martin joined the Community Greening team in October 2018 after a 24-year career as a primary school teacher. During his teaching career, he was a passionate advocate for environmental education, providing students with meaningful opportunities to grow food in safe and healthy environments. It was during this time that he connected with the Community Greening team, building a relationship rooted in shared values that continues today.

Combining his qualifications in horticulture and permaculture, Darren provides Community Greening clients with personalised, hands-on gardening activities that enrich their experience and foster community connections.

Darren runs the Gardening Program at Liverpool.




      

 Bronwyn Bulmer

Bronwyn – Yoga Instructor (Liverpool & Macarthur)

Bronwyn has been practising yoga and art therapist for over 27 years. Seven years ago, she formally trained as a yoga teacher and has since travelled overseas to deepen her knowledge in different forms of yoga.

Since joining the Wellness Programs in 2018, Bronwyn has shared her passion for yoga with participants, guiding weekly sessions that support relaxation, balance, and overall wellbeing.

Bronwyn is our dedicated Yoga Instructor at both Liverpool and Macarthur.
