Cancer Council Liaison

A cancer diagnosis presents all kinds of new challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone.

Working in partnership with your treatment team, your Cancer Council Liaison is here to support you and your family.  They can provide you with evidence-based information and connect you with relevant practical and emotional support services throughout your cancer journey.

Talk to your Liaison about:
  • Healthy lifestyle and living well
  • Evidence-based literature and podcasts
  • Social and emotional impacts of cancer
  • Peer support and support groups
  • Work, legal, insurance and financial issues
The Cancer Council Liaison service at SWSLHD Cancer Service is bilingual, offering support in Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Chaldean, Assyrian and English.
