About Live Life Well @ School

Live Life Well @ School is a joint initiative between the NSW Department of Education and NSW Ministry of Health. The program promotes a 'whole school approach' to physical activity and nutrition consistent with the school’s curriculum, culture and community.

Live Life Well @ School aims to get more students, more active, more often and focuses on developing healthy eating habits. It is part of the NSW Healthy Eating and Active Living Strategy 2013 - 2018 and all Government, Catholic and Independent primary schools are invited to participate.

South Western Sydney Local Health District provides ongoing support to Live Life Well @ School trained schools by:

  • Supporting schools to develop a whole school approach to nutrition and physical activity
  • Assisting in the development of community
  • focused nutrition and physical activity strategies
  • Providing schools with information about
