Adult Services

We assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing difficulties that may be a result of:

• Stroke
• Neurodegenerative diseases (e.g. Parkinson’s disease, Motor Neuron disease)
• Traumatic brain injury
• Dementia
• Ageing
• Head and neck cancer
• Respiratory difficulties

 
We assess and treat adult with difficulties in the following areas:

• Speech (e.g. slurred speech)
• Language (talking, understanding and use of language in social situations)
• Cognitive communication
• Swallowing
• Voice

We also give advice and education to clients, carers and other professionals regarding communication and swallowing.
