It is an exciting time for the local community with the NSW Government investing $740 million for the redevelopment of Liverpool Hospital to deliver the best healthcare for the people of South Western Sydney.
To meet the health care needs of our growing community the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct will include a first-class cancer centre, emergency department, maternity, neonatal intensive care unit, critical care, day surgery and medical imaging services. Complementing the redevelopment will be a new multi-storey car park.
The Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct will also provide a new education and research hub which will provide opportunities for greater collaboration with education and research partners.
Billed as one of the state’s biggest infrastructure projects, the redevelopment will boost the local economy and showcase Liverpool Hospital to the world as a hub for innovation and medical research.
