About Us

The South Western Sydney Hand Centre ("Fairfield Hand Clinic") provides specialised hand surgery, nursing and hand therapy service within South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) for management of all hand, wrist and forearm disorders/injuries.

The clinic consists of a multidisciplinary team including:
•       Hand surgical consultant
•       Plastic surgical registrars/fellows
•       Nurses with wound-care expertise
•       Hand therapists within a dedicated treatment room
•       Administration support staff

This clinic predominantly manages acute conditions such as:
•       Fractures and soft tissue injuries of the hand and wrist
•       Wounds to the hand and upper limb
•       Infections
•       Tumours (excluding benign cysts, ganglion, lipoma etc.)
