There are many ways in which you can help us at South Western Sydney Local Health District during these unprecedented times and we welcome the generous support of the community.
Our priority is to protect the health of our patients and staff in our hospitals, so anyone donating goods definitely needs to be healthy and not sick at all, for at least a full day before the goods are prepared and brought to our hospitals.
We welcome food, but each serve needs to be individually wrapped or packaged in plastic or foil for each staff member to take, as our staff can’t share items between themselves.
We will gladly accept fruit or vegetables but they too need to be packaged, and washed prior to packaging.
Items that aren’t food need to be new, nothing second hand please. Generally with packaging, anything in plastic wrapping is acceptable.
