About Us
The Liverpool Sexual Health Clinic is a free, confidential and non-judgemental service that provides testing and treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI’s), HIV and other Blood-Borne Viruses (BBV’s). A referral or Medicare Card is not required to access this service, and we are not linked to My Health Record.
At the clinic you can access Specialist Doctors, Nurses and a Counsellor with complete confidentiality.
The clinic sees the following:
- People experiencing STI symptoms
- People Living with HIV
- Men who have Sex with Men
- Sex Workers
- Aboriginal People
- People who Inject Drugs
- People concerned regarding possible HIV exposure
- People from, or who have travelled, to high HIV prevalent countries, and their partners
- People who have had sexual contact with people from high HIV prevalence countries
The clinic provides the following services:
- Testing and treatment for STIs
- Testing and treatment for HIV
- XPress Clinic – Quick and easy access to HIV & STI testing
- Next business day HIV SMS results for Men who have Sex with Men
- Hepatitis C treatment and follow up
- Free Hepatitis B vaccination to Men who have Sex with Men
- Sexual health related Counselling
- Sexual Health Information and Education
- Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for people recently exposed to HIV
- Prep Initiation
- Free condoms & Lubrication
- Secondary Needle and Syringe program
- CALD Clinic on Wednesday’s 1:30pm – 5:00pm (Mandarin Interpreter available on site)
- Evening Clinic (Thursday’s open until 7:30pm)
- Interpreters available upon request
- Sex Workers Support Program
- Gardasil vaccine for Men who have Sex with Men, up to the age of 35
