A MyAthens account allows you to access a range of online sources (eJournals and eBooks) available through the CLIN Libraries. Registered users can access the full text of subscribed medical, allied health, mental health, management and nursing eJournals and eBooks.
For offsite access to MyAthens eResources, you will be required to register for a personal login and password.
Who can use this service? Is there a cost?
This service is available to all employees of South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) and affiliated organisations. This service is provided at no cost.
Electronic resources via the MyAthens Portal include:
ProQuest - Health Premium Research collection provides access to over 8,500 eJournals and eBooks
CINAHL (nursing and allied health) is an in-depth database, indexing over 5,000 journals
ProQuest Business and Health & Medical eBook collections provide access to over 31,000 book titles
eBooks available for Campbelltown, Camden, Bowral & Liverpool staff include Murtagh's Medical Collection & McGraw-Hill Australian Medical Collection
How can I register and activate my MyAthens account?
Set up your account by completing the Registration form using the link below.
Once registered an email is sent with your login and password and a link to activate your access.
You will be asked to create a password. Your password should be between 8-20 characters and include both letters and non-letters (eg numbers, symbols).
The Library staff can also provide a Tour of Athens education session, to assist in using all eResources (1 hour) on request.
