Nursing is one of the most rewarding careers in healthcare. This nationally accredited qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge to work as an Enrolled Nurse in a variety of health care environments and community settings. This qualification is also suitable for those wanting a pathway to the Bachelor of Nursing course.
This program is delivered over 18 months through theory based classroom learning and practical, hands-on sessions in the simulation labs. Face to face classes are taught by highly skilled Registered Nurses and Clinical Nurse Educators who draw on their wealth of knowledge and clinical experience.
During the course you will benefit from supervised clinical placements and are exposed to various health care environments such as aged care, rehabilitation, medical, surgical, cardiothoracic, respiratory, mental health and palliative care. We currently offer clinical placements in various locations in the SSWLHD such as -
Bankstown- Lidcombe Hospital
On successful course completion you are eligible to apply to AHPRA for registration as an Enrolled Nurse. Following this you will be able to work as an Enrolled Nurse (EN).
You can express you interest in the Diploma of Nursing by completing this form and returning it as as per instructions on the form.
The Diploma of Nursing is covered by a Nursing and Midwifery Ofice (NaMO)
