Oncology Massage is a special type of massage developed specifically for cancer patients. Cancer patients have certain unique health needs which must be addressed in massagesessions to ensure that the massage is productive and not harmful to the patient.
Benefits for cancer patients and carers
Massage can help to improve some of the symptoms that patients may experience during and after their cancer treatment. Massage may help to alleviate pain, nausea, depression, anxiety, constipation, nerve damage, muscle tension, lymphedema and hot flushes.
