Clinical Services Plan

The Clinical Services Plan is a planning document that is updated on a regular basis to reflect changes in the community’s health care needs, population growth and demographics.

The Clinical Services Plan Addendum was completed in 2017 and considers the community’s health care needs and service requirements up to 2031.

Extensive consultation with clinicians and community representatives was undertaken when developing the Plan,
and a number of factors have been taken into account including:

  • Population data and forecasts
  • Recent activity at the Hospital
  • Existing and planned services across the South Western Sydney Local Health District
  • Possible changes in models of care up to 2031

As the population and community demographics change, the Plan is regularly reviewed and updated to ensure the hospital can deliver the community’s health care needs.

The Plan guides future decisions for the hospital such as infrastructure and clinical service needs.
